Taylor
Sawmill, built in 1805 on Ballard Pond in Derry NH, is the only surviving
up & down sawmill in NH and one of only 2 surviving up & down
sawmills in the US. The Purple Lilac is the NH State Flower and the
White Birch is the NH State Tree. This piece was created specifically
as a donation to Derry's "Sister City", Cherepovets, in northwestern
Russia.
