Anew Beaver Lake Park,
Derry NH, closed in 2001 and the beachfront property was sold to developers.

| On the Eastern shore of Beaver Lake in Derry, NH was a private family beach club. No matter how hot the day, one could relax on the beach, on a float, or under the shade of huge pine and willow trees in the picnic grove, and be cooled by the gentle breezes that swept across the lake. Beaver Lake Park was a place of fun-filled days of swimming and barbecues, volleyball and basketball, waterslides and paddle boating; a place where parents could safely let their children wander the beach and grounds to search for frogs and turtles and fresh water mussels. Idyllic summer days now part of a bygone era, for the Park was open for its last season in 2001 and is no more. | |||
