Throughout the State of NH, whether in the woods or in towns or villages, one cannot travel very far without coming upon a sugar house. This little sugar shack stands sleepily idle in the snows of Winter, peacefully resting before its short and hectic call to service in early Spring when the sweet aroma of boiling maple sap will fill the air. |
