During the last week
in June, Sugar Hill and neighboring towns in the Franconia area are
home to the annual Lupine Festival as fields of lupines burst into bloom.
One excellent viewing point lies atop Sunset Hill in the beautiful little
town of Sugar Hill, where a sea of purple and pink blooms stretch down
the hill and yield to the vista of distant mountains.
