In Rye, NH is a beautiful
little spot called Fuller Gardens, set back just a little way from the
main coastal route (Rte 1A). The site, which dates back to the 1920s,
is a preservation of the formal gardens established by former NH Governor
Alvin Fuller at his residence. This scene is just outside the entrance
to the Gardens and is only a mere hint of what lies inside, but I found
the fresh salt air and ocean view framed by flowers in bloom just too
irresistable!
