If one enters Pawtuckaway
State Park, near Raymond, NH just after opening in the morning, one
finds very few other visitors in the beach area. On the path to the
left, just before the footbridge, is a small secluded clearing at water's
edge. How blissfully serene it is to watch the water gently lapping
at the shore and listen to the loons call to each other in the quiet
of the morning!
